New Drivers : You have to take a written test, vision test, and then a skills test (actually driving with a DMV examiner beside you in the car) to be able to get your license. Clearing a written test and vision test will get you a learner’s permit. Some states like Maryland require you to take a drugs and alcohol class and clear a written quiz at the end of the class to get a license. Please check with your state’s DMV for detailed information.
